A podcast is a downloadable audio or video file that is stored on the internet. Some people call it "internet radio on demand." You can listen to podcasts right from your computer or you can download that file for listening at a later time. We produce the following podcasts:
Orthopedic & Physical Assesment Podcast Massage Therapy Board Exam Podcast The Massage Therapy Podcast Medical Massage Therapy Podcast Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy Podcast Sports Massage & Rehabilitation Podcast
To makes things easier, there are free computer software programs that allow you to "subscribe" to a podcast by adding it to a list of shows that you want to be downloaded to your computer. When a new show or podcast is released, the program will detect that and go online to automatically download it to your computer.
- The most popular program or podcast aggegator is Apple's iTunes. Many people use this program to subscribe to dozens of podcasts. iTunes downloads all your subscribed podcasts and also synchronizes and copies them directly to the Apple iPod.
You do not need an iPod to listen to podcasts, however. Any mp3 player will do just fine. If you are able to transfer files form your computer to the mp3 device, you can listen to podcasts that way too. Many people listen to podcasts, just like they listen to music, while driving or at the gym.

Blogs Each of out podcasts has its own web site or blogs. Blogs have entries that are usually in a dated journal format that allow you to view current and past entries by any date (or even any category) you choose. Our blog pages contain corresponding notes for each podcast as well as additional information to supplement each show. They also will serve as a repository of any web links that we mention so that you don't have to stop the podcast you are listening to to jot down something. You can refer back to the blog for the same date as the podcast to find links to mentioned web pages, handouts and additional information.
